Size Guide
The below size guide has been designed to help you choose which size is best for you. If you are measuring yourself for the first time, the waist measurement relates to the smallest part of your waist, and the hip measurement should be taken around your bum- the widest part. Please keep in mind that for your comfort, offthetongue harnesses are made from stretch fabric and should be worn snug to perform properly.
Sizing example:
If your waist measures 31 inches and your hip 42 inches, you should select size M. The fabric has enough stretch to fit you comfortably and will be snug enough to ensure your toy stays in place.
Because each harness is made to order and cannot be returned, please ensure you select the correct size before confirming at the checkout and if you have any concerns at all, please feel free to contact me with your queries. Terms and conditions for purchase can be found here. While I am happy to advise on sizing, you are responsible for your final selection.
Don’t see your size? Have unique proportions?
While the listed sizes go up to UK 22, please note that I am able to accommodate ANY size needed! Whether you’re a size 30, or a 16 with an 8 waist- I can make it happen. The reason that bigger sizes are not listed among the standard options is simply that there is much more body shape diversity within larger size brackets. Because the performance of the harnesses relies on it being completely snug all over, incrementally sizing a pattern up while keeping the same shape becomes less and less effective the bigger it gets and with each piece being made to order, it’s important to get it right first time. So I invite anyone needing a size not shown above to get in touch at info@offthetongue.com to discuss their needs :)
(Please note that due to the nature of the work I do, a small charge of £15 may be applicable depending on your requirements and this charge applies as much to smaller sizes as it does larger ones. This is to cover the cost of time needed to make an entirely new pattern from scratch to your exact measurements- but it is not always necessary and I never, ever charge for extra fabric needed. )
